Randalholm to Williamston (October)

Originally planned as a walk from Randalholm up Kip Law this was changed to a valley walk owing to strong winds.  From Randalholm we took the path up through Kirkside Wood to Middle Row, then followed the road to Barhaugh Park taking the path through the field (no bull!) to the footbridge.  From here the route followed the road past Williamston with its ancient Sheep Dip to Thompson’s Well Bridge where we turned sharp left to come back on the Pennine way to the station at Lintley Halt then the South Tyne Trail to Kirkhaugh then a short stretch of Isaac’s Tea Trail  and back along the road to Randalholm.
