Slaggyford – Eals Bridge Circular Walk
From Slaggyford railway station we headed down in to Slaggyford and back along the main road to Thompson’s Well Bridge then across the river to te footpath through Williamston, Parson Shields, The Bog and eventually to Eals Bridge where we turned left and followed the road back past Knarsdale Hall then over the fields to Burnstones where we picked up the Pennine Way heading south before crossing to the South Tyne Trail back along the railway line to Slaggyford station.
