Greg’s Hut Route Details

A walk of approx 12.5 miles up the Pennine Way from Garrigill to Greg’s Hut and back

Route to start: From Alston take the B6277 Middleton-in-Teesdale road.  After two miles take the right turn down to Garrigill where there is ample parking round the village green.

Route:  From the village green take the road heading southwards then after approx 300m take the track to the right.  This is the Pennine Way which goes all the way to Greg’s Hut (NY691354).  Return by the same route.
