Hartside to Alston (November 2015)

On a pleasant, but cold, November morning four hardy souls met at the Cumberland before driving the few miles to the start of the walk at Hartside.

Hartside cafe The cafe car park was virtually deserted as we headed off towards Hartside Heights.

Alston from the Wardway and along the walled path eventually brought us to the Wardway and a view of Alston, which we reached after roughly three hours.
