On a rather wet August evening six hardy souls met at the village green in Garrigill and from there proceeded in the rain along muddy paths to the waterfall at Ashgill. The driest place on the whole walk was actually BEHIND the waterfall. After a return through the fields above the valley it was to the George and Dragon for well-deserved refreshment.
